Using a Cordless Battery Powered Circular Saw

A cordless battery powered circular Saw is one tool that I will all the time keep in my possession. When they first came out a lot of experts were skeptical about how much power they would have. Well they aren't as grand as a corded circular Saw but they run a close second.

Cordless battery powered circular saws are designed to deal with 2x stock. All the saws come with carbide tipped blades. This is because you need a sharper, best cutting blade with this tool because you wouldn't have the sustain power to force the blade through your cut if the blade was dull.

Most manufacturers sell these saws in kits with other cordless battery powered tools, usally a cordless battery power drill. Skill is one constructor who does not sell this tool by itself. So check nearby and see if any person does sell it by itself and also check if it comes with a extra battery. I advise getting a extra battery so that while you are working you can have a battery ready for when the battery in the saw starts to lose power. Most of these batteries recharge themselves in about a half hour.

Safety is not a big concern because this tool is lightweight and easy to handle. Just be faithful to all the time remember that when the battery is in it's just like having a corded tool plugged in.

On a scale of 1 to 10 on the point of having this tool in your shop, I give it a 10. This tool is great for many projects and so easy to deal with it is a must have tool for everybody.

Cordless tools powered by battery. Hence, one of the most prominent components of a cordless tools is the battery itself, what voltage the battery is, what type of battery and technology the constructor implemented on their battery products. The first element is the battery voltage. And the greater the volts the faster the motor spins and therefore the more mighty the drill.

DeWalt Dcd760Kl powered by new 18-Volt ageement Lithium-Ion batteries for top notch charging and long life battery usage. Lithium-Ion battery thought about one of the best for cordless drill use. Compared to old technology of NiCad batteries which are ordinarily used in older models, Lithium-Ion batteries last longer and are lighter too. Power Vs Weight

As mentioned earlier, this DeWalt Dcd760Kl use high power 18-Volt batteries, and it does have a downside that ordinarily the more volts you have the heavier the battery and therefore the heavier the drill will be. Hilti Cordless Drills characterize - Don't Spend a Dime Before Reading This

How are the Hilti Cordless Drills when stacked up against the competition? Here is a short but revealing review to help you find out:

Models

They offer the 9.6, the 12, the 14.4, and the 18v models. Here is a short review of each to help you choose the right one-if any:

18v

This is By Far their most favorite model... While it's not as well known as many others that means it cheaper.

It sells for 0-cheaper than a Makita or other top of the line models. This one is known for its' power to size ratio-which is among the best in its' class.

Also its' ease of use and good equilibrium give it high marks as well. The one main negative is that often the batteries are ordinarily sold separately at most locations, which is a minor inconvenience.

15v

This one is their next size down, but still enough to handle most jobs. The one negative with this Hilti Cordless Drill is that changing the battery is a bit hard... As the tabs are too tiny to be used from underneath.

You have to come at it from the back if you want to get the batteries out. A Small inconvenience, but still below the standards of the upscale models.

But on the whole the power of this one and performance are very good.

12v

This is their "homeowners" version. But don't be fooled-it still goes up to 1300rpms which is pretty respectable when compared with other 12vs.

This well isn't going to be used at major building sites so the power is enough for any home project. It's good for drilling into wood and metal.

9.6v

This is the smallest they offer, and is only good for the well small time projects. But this one is still capable of achieving 1250 Rpms, which is approximately as high as the 12v, and the power is great than you'd expect for the smaller engine size. Still, your best bet is to go with the 12v in most instances.

The Verdict

Hilti cordless drills are solid machines-they aren't as good as Makita or Milwaukee, but for most population they are adequate.

Use Tools Much? The Ryobi Cordless quote

Holy Cow!! I bought a set of Ryobi tools 3 years ago; you know the whole set with the flash light, circular saw, drill and sander, if you use tools, this set is worth the money. In this cordless review I will tell you about an awesome set of tools, it came with the tools snap on 18v batteries(2), which are still going strong, and a charger of coarse.

The chuck-less drill has a magnet at the base which is good for retention screws and freeing up the other hand. Fabulous sufficient it is also capable of catching the bobbled screw that falls to the floor. It has to holders for bits a nicely settled transmit and reverse switch and last but not least the bubble level on the butt of the drill, which works very nicely for driving screws straight in, you don't even have to know how to drill to use this drill.

Next is the circular saw , great saw for thin woods and your small home project when you need to just whip out a saw and cut a quick cut its light weight and is easier to handle and guide then those big ones you have to pull out, find an extension cord, look for an outlet !! You get the picture.

The sander is a great slight vibrating sander it has a Velcro pad and is good for all sorts of small projects, even if you're a project amateur, ( I used mine for sanding water spots off my car windows, I used 0000 scotch keen and a liquid spot remover , 40 min the whole car!!) Last but not least the flash light ,what can I say it's a flash light it shines nice and keen and lets you see in the dark! Thanks Bobbo
